Tree of Life Nature Resort, Yahalatenna, Kandy, is blessed with abundant bird varieties, both resident and migratory. The site accommodates around 75 resident bird species including 6 species endemic to Sri Lanka. During the right time of the day, mostly in the early morning and in the evening, and also during the sunny interludes of the days with intermittent rain, you could see a variety of species coming out from their hidings and looking for food. During such times, one could easily see approximately 20 species around the main building of the resort.
